Shipping Policy
 
Our Commitment to Quality

At Off The Grid, we put people first. Every order represents trust, and we take that seriously. Our shipping dates give us the time and control needed to build products the right way — without cutting corners or rushing what matters.
This approach allows us to:

  • Produce intentionally, not excessively

  • Hold every product to strict quality standards

  • Work with trusted carriers for reliable delivery

  • Deliver gear we’re proud to put our name on
     

Quality isn’t an extra step - it’s the foundation of everything we do.

Pre-Order Shipping Information
 

  • All orders placed during the “pre-sale” period are classified as, “pre-orders”. 

  • Pre-orders will ship late May 2026.
     

Free Standard Shipping (U.S. Continental)

  • Free standard shipping on all orders within the 48 contiguous United States.

  • Estimated delivery time: 4–7 business days after shipment.

  • Orders are fulfilled via trusted carriers (FedEx, UPS, or USPS), selected based on destination and package size.
     

Priority Shipping (Paid Option)

  • Priority Shipping is available at checkout for an additional fee.

  • Estimated delivery time: 2–3 business days after shipment.

  • Pricing is calculated at checkout based on destination and carrier rates.

Overnight shipping may be offered on select orders depending on location and carrier availability.
 
Order Processing Time

  • Pre-orders have a separate processing time, all pre-orders will ship late May 2026.

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

  • Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

 
Alaska & Hawaii

  • Flat-rate shipping applies:

    • $35-50 per order (Depending on location within Hawaii and Alaska)

  • Delivery times may vary due to carrier availability and distance.

  • Free standard shipping does not apply to Alaska & Hawaii.

 
International Shipping

  • At this time, we do not ship internationally.

  • Orders placed with non-U.S. shipping addresses will be automatically canceled and refunded.

  • For international orders see “Group & Organizational Orders”.

  • We are actively exploring international logistics partners for future expansion.

  • When international shipping becomes available, customers will be fully responsible for:

    • Customs duties

    • VAT or import taxes

    • Clearance delays
       

Group & Organizational Orders (MOQ Required)

  • International shipping may be available for group, organizational, or bulk purchases that meet a minimum order quantity.

  • These orders are handled separately from our online store and require coordination with a Mission Engagement Manager.

  • Shipping availability, timelines, costs, customs duties, and import taxes will be reviewed and confirmed on a case-by-case basis.

 
Shipping Limitations

  • Off-The-Grid Co. is not responsible for global delays caused by weather events, customs processes, incorrect address information provided at checkout, as well as, third-party manufacturers and carriers.

    • Backpack and Insert only: Between 1.8 and 2.3 lbs.

    • Fully loaded with 2-person tools: Between 11.1 and 11.5 lbs.

  • Dimensions (in inches):

    • Height (bottom to top): 17 inches. If fully open or expanded, the height is 27 inches

    • Length (bottom right to left): 14 inches

Return Policy

Return Window
 

  • Returns are accepted within 15 days from the shipment date.
     

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging

  • All components, accessories, and inserts must be included

  • Items showing signs of use, wear, damage, or missing components will not be eligible for a refund.


Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


Refund Process

  • Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method


Non-Returnable Items

  • Clearance or promotional items

  • Customized or special-order kits
    (unless defective or damaged upon arrival)

 
Exchange Policy
 

  • Exchanges are accepted within 30 days for the same product (size or variant, if applicable).

    • If the requested product, size, or specification is unavailable:

  • We may offer a backorder option with an estimated restock date.

  • We may offer a similar, equivalent, or upgraded product at no additional cost, subject to customer approval.

  • If a lower-priced item is selected, a partial refund or store credit may be issued for the difference.

  • If no suitable replacement is available, customers may choose store credit or a refund in accordance with our refund policy.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs unless the exchange is due to a defect or error on our part.

 

Cancellation Policy
 

  • Refunds are eligible before shipping within 7 days that the order was placed.

  • A 15% cancellation policy will be applied to all pre-orders cancelled.

    • This fee allows us to cover non-refundable payment processing costs and ensures we can honor our commitment to donate 3% of every order to charity, even in the event of a cancellation.

  • After the 7 day period, orders follow the standard return process.

 

Warranty Policy
 

  • Off-The-Grid Co. kit is for emergency preparedness.

  • All Off-The-Grid Co. products include a 45-day limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.

  • Warranty claims must include:

    • Proof of purchase

    • Clear photos or videos of the issue

  • Off-The-Grid Co. is not responsible for misuse, reliance beyond intended use, improper handling, or normal wear and tear. 

    • Therefore, none of these is covered by warranty.

 

Damaged or Lost Packages
 

  • If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery or the expected delivery date.

  • Once verified, we will issue a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
